Legal
Terms of service
Last updated October 9, 2026
By creating a BoomLog account you agree to these terms. If you sign up for a company, you agree on its behalf.
The service
BoomLog is a tool for keeping equipment records. Its checklists, due dates and reminders are a convenience and are not a safety inspection or a legal certification: always follow your pump manufacturer's maintenance and safety guidance, applicable standards, and your qualified inspector's findings. We aren't responsible for equipment damage, downtime, or injuries.
Your account
- Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
- The company owner controls who joins the company's account and can disable users at any time.
- Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break in, overload it, or access other companies' data.
Plans and billing
- New accounts get a 14-day free trial without a card, on the Solo plan's limits. After the trial, records stay readable and exportable, but adding or changing records needs a paid plan. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.
- You can cancel any time from the Billing page; you keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for. We don't give partial refunds.
- If a plan lapses, your data stays, but you can still read and export your records, but adding or changing them, and user logins your plan doesn't include, stop working until you choose a plan again.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email.
Your data
Your company's records belong to you. You can export them at any time. See the privacy policy for what we store.
Availability
We work to keep BoomLog running but can't promise it will never be down. The service is provided "as is", and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms and will email account owners about material changes. You can stop using BoomLog at any time; we may suspend accounts that break these terms.
